How it works

Letters Beyond is a place to write letters to deceased loved ones and to journal about grief. Here's what you can expect.

Steps to get started

Create a free account

Sign up with your email. No payment required. Your account is just for you—we don't share your data with anyone.

Write in a private space

Open your first letter. Write to a loved one who's died, or to yourself. There's no right way to do it—some people write once, others come back often. Both are okay.

Your words stay yours

We don't read, sell, or use your content. Everything is stored securely. You can export or delete your data at any time. This is your private space.

No pressure, no timeline

Grief has no schedule. Write when you're ready. We're here whenever you need a quiet place to say what was never said.

Privacy, safety, and trust

  • Privacy first

Your letters and remembrance profiles are private. We don't read them, analyze them, or use them for anything.

  • Emotional safety

A calm, ad-free space designed for reflection. No notifications pushing you to write—you decide when.

  • Data protection

Your data is stored securely. You can download or delete everything at any time. We're transparent about how we handle your information.
